The "Appartementhaus Speckalm" is an exclusive, well-kept and cozy holiday home with 16 apartments in the middle of the ski area and the hiking region of Katschberg/Aineck. In winter, a ski holiday without a car, lift access directly from the apartment, in-house ski school & ski rental. In summer, in the middle of the mountains, which invites young and old to explore the wonderful landscape. The spacious apartments are located in a 3-story building and are all tastefully furnished with fir wood in Tyrolean style. They include separate bedrooms and a large, fully equipped kitchen with a cozy living area. Almost every apartment also has a balcony from which you can enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama. The "Appartementhaus Speckalm" has been owned by the Otto Grossegger family since summer 2009. We look forward to welcoming and pampering you at Katschberg. The Katschberg is located on the border between Carinthia and Salzburg, at the gateway to the Carinthian Nockberge and Hohe Tauern National Parks. Tauern, at an altitude of 1640 m, is a varied winter experience on the Katschberg. For your winter holiday, the place offers not only skiing and snowboarding, but also cross-country and skating trails, winter hiking trails and horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoe hikes and ski touring routes, freeride slopes and ice skating rinks, illuminated toboggan and curling rinks, and the opportunity to ski at night! Your host and his ski school will ensure that you can learn to ski and snowboard quickly and easily or improve if necessary! In summer, your allergy doesn't stand a chance on the Katschberg! Your body will thank you for a stay in our mountains! Body, mind and soul can relax here to the full! Enjoy the many hiking routes to managed alpine huts, or a ride on the lift to the Aineck.
