Hotel Post

The See-Hotel "Post" consists of the hotel and the villa, the hotel is located directly on the eastern shore of Lake Attersee, at the entrance to the beautiful Weißenbachtal. The house offers its own large bathing area with a beach pavilion and free use of our sun loungers, as well as a tennis court and a large park with a sunbathing area by the villa. Very good Austrian dishes with regional products are offered in our restaurant. When the weather is nice, you can dine in the guest garden under large chestnut trees with a wonderful view of Lake Attersee. The illustrious guests of the house have included Empress Sisi of Austria, the composer Gustav Mahler and the pianist Friedrich Gulda. The rooms or two-room apartments (without kitchen) in the See-Hotel Post or in the Villa am Attersee offer mountain, park or lake views, a flat-screen cable TV and a private bathroom. Some also feature a balcony from which you can enjoy a wonderful view. You can use WLAN free of charge in the public areas. A pedal boat, a rowing boat and several stand-up paddles are also available free of charge. Hotel parking spaces are available, a reservation is not required. Bicycles, mountain bikes and e-bikes can be rented at a surcharge.
