The Alpen Resort Hotel in Zermatt, at the foot of the world famous Matterhorn, is located 300 meters from the Zermatt train station. The new Suneggabahn and the Gornergratbahn are only a few minutes walk away and take you directly to the winter sports area. The Best Western Alpen Resort Hotel welcomes families as well as couples and singles. The 4 star hotel has its own wellness facility with various baths and saunas. Relax with a massage, in the sauna, in the 30 degree heated swimming pool, in the steam bath or in the whirlpool. As Zermatt is car-free, parking is available in Täsch (for a fee), from where you can take the shuttle train to Zermatt (approx. 12 min. journey). For a fee, you can use the public parking garage in Täsch or the hotel's own parking spaces with e-car charging station at the Matterhorn Inn. In Zermatt, a hotel-owned shuttle from/to Zermatt train station is also available by appointment.
