Discover exotic plants, giant palm trees, tree orchids and mangrove swamps. The fabric safari tents are located in the Tropical Islands Hall in the Sunset and Rainforest Camps. They are equipped with mattresses, fitted sheets, pillows and a light duvet (self-catering). In the middle of the tent there is a ridge pole that supports the entire tent. Unfortunately, it is not possible to push the mattresses together or add a small additional mattress or a baby/children's bed for small children. Go on a culinary journey of discovery in 5 restaurants. Choose from fish and meat dishes in the “Palm Beach” restaurant with a view of the South Seas. Choose the “Sawadee” with an international buffet. Aroi Dee serves a variety of traditional Thai dishes. The Mondial Food Court is inspired by the street kitchens of the world: salads, wraps, burgers, pizza and a vegetarian offer are on the menu. You can experience the fascination of Singapore with typical local specialties in the “Singapore Tree”. The Tropical Islands offers a tropical adventure landscape including a water slide tower and the Amazonia outdoor area. Special attractions: Jungle Splash: At over 650 square meters, with a total height of over 15 m, 8 slides and many additional play options, it is one of the largest water playgrounds in Germany. And best of all: parents can slide along too. Over 300 meters of slides guarantee endless water fun. In total there are around 100 play options: everything from water pistols to an adventure climbing net. Kraki Beach – water playground for small children: Let your children go on a discovery tour not far from the South Seas! The pink giant octopus, a particularly large and friendly resident, is particularly eye-catching. A submarine lies at anchor on the edge, with colorful fish swimming past its portholes. 3 slides, 2 shallow water pools, waterfall, 2 water cannons and many other small water attractions. Surf simulator “Pororoca” (summer operation only): Different levels of difficulty can be created on the surf wave. Children and beginners as well as professionals get their money's worth here. Use is for swimmers aged 8 and up. (for a fee) Parking: The Tropical Islands area has numerous paid parking options. The fee for each entrance in the immediate vicinity of the hall is 7 EUR, the fees for parking spaces P2 and P3 are 4 EUR each with a maximum validity until 1 a.m. the following day. Free parking spaces can be found immediately behind the entrance to the Tropical Islands premises. Parking spaces in the holiday home park are free of charge. From here a shuttle bus goes directly to the hall. The tents will not be cleaned during your stay.
