Arcona - Hostel on the Water

The ARCONA was completed in the 1940s and has been in service with the German Navy since 1958. The steel ship is over 66 meters long and 10 meters wide, with a draft of 1.60 meters. Since 1984, the ARCONA served as the home ship of the Wilhelmshaven Naval Association before the German Marine Association took over the ship in 2021 and decided in the same year to renovate it and convert it into a modern hostel. Today, the ARCONA shines in new splendor, both inside and out. 22 cabins with a total of 52 berths await vacationers who appreciate something special. And the ARCONA is special in every respect: particularly maritime, particularly cozy, particularly stylish. The cabins are equipped with bunk beds measuring 90 x 200 cm, a locker, a coat rack, desks with chairs, a vanity, and a mirror.
