Venet Gipfelhütte

The Venet hiking and skiing area is located in the Tyrolean Oberland, just about a 45-minute drive from the Fernpass, a good half hour from the Arlberg, or about 1.5 hours west of Kufstein. No matter which direction you're coming from, enjoy the Tyrolean mountains with an overnight stay in our summit hut at 2,212 m above sea level. Be enchanted by sunrises and sunsets over the surrounding mountain peaks and gaze at the stars on dark nights without light pollution. You can choose between shared rooms, family rooms, standard double rooms, or our comfort double rooms (with a bathtub directly by the panoramic window or an infrared cabin), which are very popular with hikers. All rooms have a private bathroom with toilet and shower. In our panoramic restaurant, your palate will be pampered with Tyrolean delicacies and regional delicacies. The extensive breakfast buffet will fortify you for your hikes or a day of skiing. The surrounding alpine pastures and huts invite you to stop for a break. In summer, little ones enjoy the various stations along the Tobiweg trail and collect a small reward at the end at the Zammer Alm or at the valley station of the Rifenalbahn. At varying levels of difficulty and walking time, you can also reach the Gogles Alm, Jagerhütte in Fließ, Meranz Alm, Imsterbergeralm, Venetalm, Hochasteralm, and Larcheralm. The Venet is an integral part of the E5 long-distance hiking trail, and many hikers take advantage of the overnight stay at the summit hut to start the next stage from the mountain summit as early as possible. In winter, perfectly groomed slopes and challenging slopes await you.
