We, Philip and Miriam, passionately run the traditional hotel and historical gem, the Schwarzer Adler, now in its 12th generation. Our heritage is a vibrant family and hotel history spanning over 600 years. The Schwarzer Adler is the birthplace of the Tyrolean folk hero and initiator of the "Sacred Heart Fires" tradition, which has been honored annually for over 225 years with impressive Sacred Heart Fires lit on many mountain peaks in Tyrol and South Tyrol. We don't chase every trend, but lovingly preserve what is worth preserving. In winter, the free ski bus takes you directly from the hotel to the lifts of the Arlberg ski paradise several times an hour.
